Measure Twice, Cut Once

Most of our days consist of unschooling; however; because my husband and I both attended traditional public school we incorporate “assessment” days to check on learning. On these days, I give our son printed worksheets or workbook pages to test whether he’s retaining what he’s experienced or if we need to devote more time to a specific subject. The best part of homeschooling is you can customize it to fit your family and your life. This works for us, for now.
