Earlier this year or likely last, I switched from shopping in store to curbside to limit to wandering eye effect that ultimately ended with me purchasing more than what I needed on my Target runs. Another method that works for me is to exclude my husband from my quick no list grocery store runs, since he cart dumps (which is basically him adding things to the cart thatâs not on my mental list or cool things he thinks our son would like or any clearance items that seems too good to pass up). I still am tempted especially when I have to go inside for a return. Most times I stay focused but if I slip up, I remember that itâs a marathon not a sprint and if I indulge once it doesnât negate the improvements I already made.
